You’ve come to the right place, cause that’s what I do.
I’m Sarah D. Carrasco and I have a passion for helping people feel amazing in their unique bodies through intelligent movement. After 30+ years of dancing as a passion and as a career, and 10+ years as a Pilates instructor and teacher trainer, I have struggled with moving through injuries and pain. Pilates has always been the modality that keeps my body together, happy, and pain free.
I started my business to help people realize that there is a way to exercise that is fun, safe, effective and healing for any body.
In my private sessions, I work one-on-one with my clients on the Pilates equipment to address specific body needs and individual goals. I help them move with ease and without pain. The added bonus: this work translates into every day life. You'll build awareness, flow, and ease in your body that you never knew was possible.
In my group classes, I provide a positive group movement experience of Pilates + self-care via the use of props including foam rollers, magic circles, therabands, blocks and balls of all sizes- anything I can get my hands on to help you feel your best!

More about me
I'm a Texas girl, born and raised in Fort Worth. I fell in love with Dance (started at age 3) and always felt the need to move my body. After earning a degree in Dance from Oklahoma City University, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre. I traveled across the country tapping and kicking my way through some of my most beloved musicals (Crazy For You, 42nd St. and The Producers to name a few).
I came across Pilates during my first year of college dance training (as a ballet major at TCU). I was shocked and amazed at how much stronger I became as a dancer simply by cross-training 1x a week with Pilates mat exercises. I could balance for longer, move with more ease, I became more centered and I could connect with my body better.
Mystified by this experience, I always knew I wanted to teach Pilates. After 5 years of living the life of a starving artist in NYC, I got my mat and apparatus training through Kelly Kane via The Kane School of Core Integration.
My experience at the Kane School helped me to understand the scope of Pilates and how it can truly transform and help to heal the body. I learned that it's not just for dancers, Pilates is great for every body. Kelly's training helped me to see each individual body as unique and special, with their own specific needs.
Soon after I was certified, I became an Expert Instructor and Teacher Trainer at The Kane School.
Since then, I've used Pilates to rehab injuries in my own body and as a self-care method. I've worked with a myriad of clients with a myriad of injuries and body issues. I value growth in myself and in my clients, so I attend workshops and study with incredible teachers on unique topics to enrich the work.
in 2012 I moved to Kauai where I owned a Pilates studio and developed group classes and workshops. I was active in the local theatre scene, choreographing for KPAC (Kauai's High School Performing Arts program) and performing in shows including Avenue Q and Shrek.
I recently moved to Austin, TX where I now teach at Pilates South Austin and at Vitality Pilates. I love exploring all that Austin has to offer, including a unique fitness scene, some amazing restaurants, & the outdoors. And when I'm not busy exploring or teaching, I enjoy spending time with family.
