Tensions are running slightly high here on Kauai as we anticipate 2 big storms[hurricanes] headed to our area.

It can be quite unnerving to not know what Mother Nature has in store on a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific. That being said, there are ways to calm your nerves and relax your body[no matter what life hands you] through simple movement and breath.

Our hips[the psoas muscles] immediately tighten and engage when we are stressed, panicked, or otherwise in fight or flight mode. Since the psoas muscle connects into the low back, it then pulls on the low back causing a chain reaction that doesn’t always feel so great on your spine.

If you’re on Kauai and you’ve been prepping for the storms, moving furniture, lifting boxes, cleaning, organizing, this is the perfect release for your low back and hips. If you're not on Kauai, I know you've got demands that make you clench up. Take 5 minutes right now and try this with me.

Click below to give it a shot! This sequence is for folks who have a generally healthy spine. Consult with your doctor if you have disc issues or other diagnosed spinal issues.

Now that you're done, how did that feel? Did you luxuriate in the butterflies? Which one was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below?

Thanks so much for reading, sharing and moving your beautiful bod along with me.

                                Aloha,
