I will never forget the first time I stepped into a Pilates studio. I was in a state of wonder. What the what did I step into? Metal bars and springs? Straps, wood, ropes? What is all this stuff?

In fact any time I step into a Pilates studio, I get little butterflies in my belly.

Not everyone feels that way, and many are curious as to what this stuff really is and what you can do with it.

The unique apparatus, invented by Joseph Pilates is something to be revered, not feared. His ingenuity was beyond his time and at the same time it’s timeless.

Over the next few weeks I will be introducing you to the Pilates equipment so you can get a sense of what it is and how we can use it.

Today, I’d like to introduce you to the Pilates Springboard. Here’s a video with a little demonstration by yours truly.

I incorporate the Pilates Springboard in with Private sessions and I teach Pilates Springboard classes at movin' on 2 wellness in Lihue.

If you'd like to go for a spin on the springboard, come on over, I'd love to have you.

                                    Aloha,

P.S. Just in case you missed 'em, meet the Reformer, the ladder barrel, and the Wunda Chair.
